OPEN MIC NIGHTS OF MUSIC, POETRY, AND COMEDY
People, places, and things can trigger both positive and negative memories and emotions. Music can do likewise. Hearing a particular song that the individual connects to a difficult time in life can help the individual examine what they were doing, thinking and feeling at the time in order to better understand his or her behavior. Likewise, music that evokes a happy memory or thought can ease tension and bring about a feeling of peace and calm.
