New Director of Opening the Word Peer Recovery Center

Please join me in welcoming Jose Vazquez as the new Director of Opening the Word Peer Recovery Center. Jose will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facility, Pastor Janice will continue in her position as President of the Board and will oversee finances, funding opportunities, and working with our marketing firm. Jose comes to us with experience as a Recovery Coach, the House Manager of Reconciliation House, his work with the homeless in Worcester, and liaison to the Worcester County Sheriff's Office Resource Center in Webster. He brings with him the lived experience of recovery and a passion for helping others do likewise. He has a compassionate heart and seeks to help those who live with the stigma of substance abuse disorder and incarceration. Congratulations, Jose, and welcome!
